Teen Center USA Officially Cancels the Remainder of the 2020 Teen Idol Vocal Competition
May 4, 2020
Elk Grove, CALIF. – Effective Immediately - Teen Center USA has made the difficult decision to cancel the 16th annual Teen Idol 2020 Vocal Competition. This decision was made after careful consideration following updated announcements from Gov. Gavin Newsom and the California Department of Public Health on guidelines for mass gatherings due to the COVID-19 pandemic. As disappointed as we are in having to cancel the competition this year, protecting the health and safety of our participants, their families, and community is of utmost importance. We are hopeful that the next season for our competition will be back and better than ever to showcase the talents and abilities of some of the best vocalists in our region.
